Usage credits are a monthly budget for the things Runwork runs for you: third-party integration calls (HubSpot, Slack, GitHub, and more) and agent runtime. Most AI runs on your own keys (BYOK), so it does not draw them down. As a rough guide, $30 covers about 1,600 automation runs a month. You can watch spending in real time, and credits reset each billing cycle.

BYOK means bring your own AI keys. It is the suggested way to run AI on Runwork: your agents use your existing AI subscription or API keys, so AI usage bills directly to you instead of drawing down usage credits. The Desktop app installs and configures each teammate's AI tool to use those keys automatically. BYOK is optional, but it is the default path for most teams.

We warn you at 75% and 90% of your usage credits. Integration and agent runs then pause until the next cycle or until you upgrade, so there are never surprise bills. Your data is never at risk.

No. The Desktop app handles setup for everyone, detecting each person's AI tools and connecting them to your shared workspace. Non-technical teammates get guided onboarding and coaching, while engineers can use the CLI. Adoption and training are built into every plan.

That is the hard part, and it is why Runwork includes adoption tooling on every plan. The Team Dashboard shows how AI-native each person and team actually is, adoption nudges keep people moving, and Share & Resume lets teammates hand off working AI conversations so good patterns spread instead of getting stuck with one person.

Enterprise adds custom seats and usage, dedicated and custom infrastructure with your choice of region, extended audit retention, an SLA, and a dedicated success manager, plus SSO and the SOC 2 report as they land (both coming soon). Talk to us to scope it.

Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle, and nothing is deleted, only paused if it exceeds the lower plan.

We accept all major credit cards and can arrange invoicing for Growth, Scale, and Enterprise customers.

Security is foundational to Runwork. We use encryption at rest and in transit, run on Cloudflare's enterprise infrastructure, and are working towards SOC 2 Type II compliance.
