One space per kind of work
A space is where one piece of work lives: its files, how your AI should handle it, the apps and automations around it, and the conversations. Start a chat from a space and the AI already knows the job. Share a file and a teammate picks it up where you left it.

What Spaces gives you
Chats that start with context
Start a chat from a space in the AI tool you already use. It opens with the space's files and instructions in front of it, so you ask your question instead of pasting background.
Instructions every AI reads
Tell AI tools what matters here before they start. The space's instructions live in an AGENTS.md file, read by every agent working in the space, whichever tool it runs in.
Bring the folder you already work in
Runwork finds the folders your AI already works in and offers them as spaces. Connect one, or start an empty space and get a folder on your computer and a place your AI starts from.
You choose what to share
Runwork shows what changed in the folder. New files stay on your computer until you pick them and choose Share selected, and your teammates and their AI tools pick them up where you left off.
Files your AI makes, collected
Chats leave files behind, often in scratch folders nobody else can see. Runwork collects every file and output a chat touches and shows it in the space the chat started from.
Skills, apps and automations in one place
The skills, apps, automations and integrations around a piece of work sit in its space, in their own tabs, next to the files and chats they belong to.
Chats stay on your computer
Your conversations with AI tools are read on the computer they happened on and never leave it. A space lists them, and a teammate sees one only when you share it.
My Desk for everything else
Work that does not belong to a space yet goes on My Desk, which is yours. Move it into a space whenever it grows into something the team needs.

Why Spaces matters
- Works with the AI tools your team already uses: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and 60+ AI tools in total
- Nothing leaves your computer until you share it
- The work belongs to the company, so it stays when tools or people change
- A space is a real folder on your computer, so your AI tools open it directly
- A new teammate opens a space and their AI starts from everything already in it
How Spaces works
Most teams already use AI every day, one person at a time. What each person figures out stays in their own chat history and their own folders, and nobody else's AI knows it. A space gives one piece of work a shared home: customer onboarding, renewals, the newsletter.
You create a space from the desktop app. Runwork reads the conversations on your computer, finds the folders your AI already works in, and offers them as spaces. Nothing leaves your computer while it does. You can also start an empty space: name the work, and you get a folder on your computer and a place your AI starts from.
Inside a space, the tabs are the work itself: Files, Chats, Skills, Apps and automations and Integrations. The space's instructions sit in an AGENTS.md file that every AI tool reads before it starts. Start a new conversation from the space, and your AI tool opens with those files and instructions in front of it.
Sharing is always your choice. When files change, the space shows them as waiting, with labels such as "Only on this computer" or "Not shared". You pick what goes with Share selected, or keep it with Don't share selected. Once shared, your teammates and their AI tools pick the work up where you left it, in whichever AI tool each of them uses.
What the team builds around the work stays next to it. A skill saved in a space is followed by every teammate's AI. Apps and automations your AI builds in the space are hosted by Runwork, with sign-in, data and integrations ready. Chats you share can be picked up by a teammate in their own tool through Share & Resume.
