Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Runwork ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Runwork is an AI-powered platform for building full-stack business applications. The Service includes the Work Assistant, app generation tools, data management, integrations, automations, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Your Content and Data

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content, code, data, and applications you create using Runwork. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

4.2 License to Runwork

You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

4.3 Data Portability

You can export your data at any time in standard formats through your account settings.

5. Subscription Terms

5.1 Plans and Pricing

Runwork offers the following subscription plans:

  • Solo: $39/month for individual professionals
  • Startup: $79/month for small teams (3 seats included)
  • Growth: $379/month for growing teams (15 seats included)
  • Scale: $979/month for larger organizations (50 seats included)

Additional seats are available at $29/month on any plan. Annual billing is also available.

5.2 Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance and automatically renew unless cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for renewal payments.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5.4 Free Trial

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. You will be charged only if you choose to continue after the trial period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Engage in unauthorized access or hacking attempts
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose

7. AI Usage and Limitations

The Work Assistant and other AI features are provided to assist with app development and data management. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may require review and modification
  • You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated code and content before use
  • AI features are subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan
  • We may use anonymized usage data to improve AI models

8. Third-Party Integrations

Runwork allows you to connect third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to those services' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUNWORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Service Level Agreement

For paid plans, we commit to 99.9% uptime availability measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance. Scale plan customers are eligible for service credits if uptime falls below this threshold. Contact support for SLA details.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runwork and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
